Deloitte, Parsons, Crew Training grab new DOD contracts
Among the contract awards announced by the Defense Department on Thursday were a contract for UAV training, and two awards for cybersecurity work.
Crew Training International Inc. has won a $241.4 million contract to provide training and course work development for the Air Force unmanned aerial vehicle training.
The training is for pilots and crews flying the Predator and Reaper drones out of several Air Force locations including Creech Air Force Base in Nevada, Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, March Air Reserve Base in California, and Hancock Field Air National Guard Base in New York.
Crew of Memphis, Tennessee was one of eight bidders for the five-year contract.
The work under the contract includes academic, training, and live flying instruction. Training will go to students, aircrew and operational support personnel.
Deloitte & Touche was picked from among four bidders to provide cyberspace analytics services to the U.S. Army under an $18.1 million firm-fixed-price contract.
The work will be done in Arlington, Virginia, and the contract runs through Nov. 7, 2023.
The Army solicited 28 bids but only four companies including Deloitte, submitted bids.
Parsons Government Services was tapped for a $15.8 million Army contract for mission planning for defensive cyberspace operations.
The Army solicited bids from 19 companies but only seven responded with proposals. Work will take place in Centerville, Virginia. The contract is for one year.
