Tell us how you really feel about protests, defriefings

Research for our next WT Insider Report is progressing as we collect data on agency debriefings and bid protests.

We did a similar report two years ago, but a lot has happened since then and that convinces us it is time to revisit this topic.

Click here to take the survey and share your insights.

Some of the things we are asking about include what contractors want in a debriefing and whether the quality is improving.

Our 2016 report drew a straight line between the quality of debriefings and the likelihood that a company will file a bid protest. We’ll look at that more as well.

In our new report, we’ll compare the 2016 results to those of 2018. The new report is due for publication in September.

A lot has happened with debriefings since our 2016 report and Congress has even gotten involved so we’ll see if that is having an impact yet or not.

But the bottom line is, agencies know people are paying more attention to debriefings and the connection to bid protests.

In the area of bid protests, we’ll be looking how likely companies are to protest and what it is they are trying to learn.

We’ll also dive deeper into the types of debriefings that companies find valuable by asking questions specific to oral debriefings and written debriefings.

You may have already received an email inviting you to take the survey. But you can click here as well to fill it out. You’ll also be eligible for a drawing to win one of three $50 Amazon gift cards.

The results of our research will be used to produce an exclusive Insider Report available to our Insider members. The report will be published in September.
