Former Sotera CEO lands a new gig

Nearly a year after selling Sotera Defense Solutions to KeyW, Deb Alderson has found a new spot to hang her CEO hat.

She is now the CEO of GTL, a company that provides a variety of corrections and management technologies.

The Reston, Virginia, based company provides services to correctional facilities across the United States. Services cin departments of corrections with a communications, enterprise management, inmate services, investigative solutions and payment and deposit solutions.

Alderson takes over on April 2. She replaces Brian Oliver, who is retiring. He’ll continue as an advisor to the company.

Alderson also has held senior leadership positions at SRA International, SAIC and Anteon.

She was the CEO at Sotera when the company was acquired by KeyW in April 2017. The transaction has been named one of the best deals of 2017.
