Information Analysis Inc. appoints new CEO

Information Analysis Inc., a publicly-traded small business government contractor, has appointed former Federal Data Systems CEO Jamie Benoit as chief executive.

Benoit will lead the effort to reposition IAI and work alongside former CEO Stan Reese, whom the company said Thursday will stay on as president.

Regarding FedData, Benoit led that company for 10 years in a tenure that included the acquisition of three other businesses and eventual sale in 2018 to private equity firm McNally Capital.

Prior to FedData, he served as an Army officer during the 1990s and subsequently an appellate clerk and practiced law at several national legal firms.

Fairfax, Virginia-headquartered IAI’s stock trades on over-the-counter markets without the supervision of an exchange. The company reported $13.9 million in revenue for 2020 on $413,000 in net income.
