Ensco makes deal for aerospace, national security expansion

Ensco has moved to bolster its aerospace and national security market footprint through its acquisition of Exostrategies.

Terms of the deal announced Friday were undisclosed, but Ensco touted Exostrategies’ focus areas as including new strategies and solutions for space and intelligence agencies.

Exostrategies also brings to its acquirer a proprietary cloud-based decision support tool used by the Air Force and intelligence community customers to carry out enterprise modernization and architecture development efforts.

Oliver Investment Banking was the financial adviser to Exostrategies. Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman was legal adviser to Ensco.
