Persado, a New York City-headquartered artificial intelligence company, has unveiled more details on its pursuit of public sector business and particularly in the federal government market.
In a release Tuesday, Persado said it has hired three-decade government market and Verizon veteran Mike Maiorana as senior vice president of federal strategy and sales. Maiorana most recently was senior vice president for public sector in Verizon’s business group.
Some of the key government programs Persado is eyeing include the White House’s National AI Initiative Office, the Defense Department’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center and General Services Administration’s AI Center of Excellence.
The company also sees potential in digital experience programs run by agencies to support the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act, also known as the IDEA Act.
Persadp touts its platform as incorporating data science, computational linguistics and machine learning to tag and score words and phrases for users to create messages.
