The Air Force has awarded 17 companies positions on a potential eight-year, $783 million contract to help integrate physical and electronic security systems.
Awardees will vie for task orders to perform work that also will include technical modifications and sustainment services. The branch received 31 bids for the contract, the Defense Department said in its Friday awards digest.
This fourth version of the Force Protection Site Security System Solutions contract nearly triples the number of companies from the current FPS3 vehicle, which had five winners.
Four incumbents BCF Solutions, CACI International, InDyne and Xator Corp. were selected for the new contract. A fifth incumbent in Northrop Grumman was not selected, though it is unknown if that company bid for FPS4.
Other winners and hence newcomers are:
- Advanced Technology Systems Co.
- AtlanticCommTech Corp.
- Chenega Security International LLC
- Evergreen Fire and Security
- Government Contracting Services LLC
- Johnson Controls BAS LLC
- KBR
- LINX Defense LLC
- LVW Electronics
- M.C. Dean
- Professional Project Services
- Prometheus Security Group Global
- VT Milcom
Work will take place through April 2028.
