Amida names Morea to board, appoints new growth chief

Data management company Amida Technology Solutions adds former CGI executive Donna Morea to the board of directors and also appoints a new chief growth officer, formerly of ManTech.

Data management company Amida Technology Solutions closed out August with a pair of high-profile leadership appointments: one to its board of directors and the other to the executive team.

Donna Morea, a former CGI Group segment president, has joined the board of directors for Amida. She recently joined the advisory board of one of Amida’s investors in Blue Delta Capital Partners and chairs the board of directors at Science Applications International Corp.

Amida also added former ManTech International Executive Kevin Fagan as chief growth officer. He more recently led ManTech’s federal civil and health unit and held prior stints at NCI Inc.’s AdvancedMed subsidiary, SRA International and Mitre Corp.

Amida was co-founded and is led as CEO by former Veterans Affairs Department Chief Technology Officer Peter Levin, one of the main leaders who oversaw the VA’s Blue Button program to act as an open source digital health record tool.

The company specializes in data management, architecture, and cybersecurity services in addition to its health data work.

Red Hat is also an investor in Amida.
