NTT Data books $218M USAID IT award

NTT Data’s federal services business has booked a five-year, $218 million contract to operate and maintain the overall IT infrastructure of the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The award calls on NTT Data to apply new technology innovations that help make that infrastructure operate more efficiently, the company said Wednesday.

USAID’s office of the chief information officer is directing the contract work. The agency operates in more than 70 countries worldwide.
