Karsun wins $80M FEMA agile development pact

Karsun Solutions has won a five-year, $80 million blanket purchase agreement for agile development services to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency consolidate IT systems that support grants management.

FEMA seeks to consolidate 10 legacy systems into a single new platform as part of a larger effort to establish a common grants management lifecycle and unify business processes across grant programs where possible, Karsun said Wednesday.

Herndon, Virginia-based Karsun said the Grants Management Modernization Program Agile development contract was awarded through a full-and-open competition.
