Serco wins $200M PBGC support contract

Serco Inc. has won a potential five-year, $200.5 million contract to carry out field office support services for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

PBGC chose the North American subsidiary of U.K.-based Serco Group through a best-value competition. Work will take place over one base year and up to four individual option years, the agency said in a FedBizOpps award notice Friday.

The subsidiary will help PBGC collect and manage documents, create a database, incorporate the greater use of data analytics and support benefits administration processes.

PBGC received seven total offers for the contract, according to Federal Procurement Data System information.
