ECS promotes Brian Orsi to exec ranks

ECS Federal has promoted one of its own in Brian Orsi to vice president of advanced solutions for the national security and intelligence division, the company said Monday.

Orsi is a 23-year defense market veteran and was formerly ECS' director of applied technology, a role in which he helped manage the development and delivery of complex software engineering services and artificial intelligence tools to federal customers.

He also led the management of a hybrid cloud network that included users across the departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and State.

Orsi joined ECS in 2014 after a two-decade government service career at agencies such as DHS and DOJ.

Formerly On Assignment, the global IT and professional services company ASGN acquired ECS in the spring.
