Navy picks five for $223M DCNO support contract

The Navy has chosen five companies for a potential nine-year, $223.9 million contract to provide program management services to the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations.

Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI International, Deloitte, Systems Planning and Analysis, and Whitney, Bradley & Brown will compete for task orders to support the DCNO in manpower, personnel, training and education areas.

Eleven bids were submitted for the contract that includes an initial three-year base period followed by a pair of three-year option periods, the Defense Department said in its Friday awards digest.

DCNO components supported under the contract include the Bureau of Naval Personnel, Navy Personnel Command, the Navy Manpower Analysis Center, Commander Naval Education and Training, and Commander Navy Recruiting Command.
