Cubic hires Powell to head 'C2ISR' business

Cubic Corp. has hired Bradford Powell, a former senior program director at Northrop Grumman, as vice president and general manager for the “C2ISR” solutions business.

Powell will oversee Cubic’s offerings and growth strategy for the command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solutions business. He will also report to Cubic’s mission solutions president in Mike Twyman, the company said Thursday.

Prior to Cubic, Powell led a portfolio of programs at Northrop for customers such as the Army and U.S. Postal Service. He also helped lead a joint venture in Saudi Arabia for three years with responsibility over critical infrastructure protection offerings.

He is also a former Air Force acquisition officer and was program manager for several tactical data link integration programs.
