Navy chooses 21 small firms for $960M program management contract

The Navy awards 21 small businesses positions on a $960 million program management support services contract.

The Navy has awarded positions on a five-year, $960 million contract to 21 small businesses for program management support services.

Naval Air Systems Command received 84 offers for the contract that was reserved as a small business set-aside, the Defense Department said in its Wednesday contracts digest.

Winners will compete for orders to perform services such as leading, facilitating, and ensuring the strategic planning, implementation, coordination, integration, and evaluation of programmatic activities and administrative systems for NAVAIR managed programs program executive offices.
