Herndon, Va.-based Vion said Tuesday it hired Henry for his experience and understanding of emerging technologies in the federal and commercial arenas.

At HDS, Henry was senior vice president and general manager for the Americas and oversaw a team of almost 2,000 employees across the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

Prior to that, he held executive roles at Unisys and the companies formerly known as Hewlett-Packard and Compaq, which HP acquired in 2007.
