Vion promotes Kushner to federal sales VP

Vion Corp. said Thursday it has promoted one of its senior directors in David Kushner to vice president of federal sales.

Kushner formerly led federal civilian sales for the Herndon, Va.-based government IT contractor. In that role he worked with agencies to implement customized cloud and advanced analytics strategies.

Prior to Vion, he spent 10 years at EMC Corp. and led a team in its information intelligence group that concentrated on security, enterprise content management and capture tools.

The company also announced it hired former Sprint business sales manager Justin Ciaccio as director of sales for commercial and state, local and education markets.
