Belcan adds Briggs to government leadership team

Belcan has hired two-decade industry veteran Scott Briggs as a senior vice president in the Cincinnati-based company's government services segment.

Briggs will oversee the business' scientific, engineering and technical teams. Belcan built the government business through a trio of acquisitions over the past year that includes April deal for Schafer Corp.

Prior to Belcan, Briggs was director of business development at Vion Corp. He is also a three-decade veteran of the Navy and Navy Reserve, during which he served as senior enlisted leader across several intelligence commands and taught at the Naval War College.
