Aerospace Corp. receives $860M systems engineering contract extension

Nonprofit organization Aerospace Corp. has received a one-year, $860.5 million contract extension for continued systems engineering services to the Air Force.

The work supports programs and personnel in the national space community, the Defense Department said in its Friday contracts digest.

This modification exercises the fourth option year of Aerospace Corp.'s contract with the Air Force.

Work under the modification will take place through Sept. 30, 2018 and occur in El Segundo, Calif., home to the Air Force's Space and Missile Systems Center.
