MCR adds Pender as analytics group president

MCR has hired three-decade industry veteran Sean Pender to lead the McLean, Va.-based government services contractor's new analytics-focused business group called "MCR Solutions."

Pender will oversee the group that will combine analytics, modeling and simulation and visualization services into an offering called CommandEdge that is part of MCR's overall program management portfolio.

Prior to MCR, he worked as a senior vice president and group manager at Alion Science and Technology and before that was a deputy group manager at the company.

He is also a former vice president from the company now known as Leonardo DRS -- formerly DRS Technologies -- and was a program manager at the Defense Department and Naval Air Warfare Center.
