SAIC takes in $48M National Institute of Mental Health IT order

Science Applications International Corp. receives a potential five-year, $48 million task order for IT services to the National Institute of Mental Health.

Science Applications International Corp. has received a potential five-year, $48 million task order for IT services to the National Institute of Mental Health.

NIMH awarded the order through the National Institutes of Health CIO-SP3 IT services contract vehicle. The order covers one base year with four one-year options.

SAIC will work with NIMH to help plan and manage the Rockville, Md.-based institute's overall technology environment. The company's services will include desktop support, infrastructure support, custom software development, maintenance and updates.

NIMH is one of 27 institutes and centers within the overall NIH organization.
