ThreatQuotient hires Symantec vet Schumm as sales SVP

Cyber intelligence services provider ThreatQuotient has appointed former Symantec public sector business lead Gigi Schumm as senior vice president of sales.

She holds two decades of experience in the cyber field across both the public sector and commercial markets. Her career also includes roles at Oracle, Apple and the former Sun Microsystems.

Since 2014, Schumm and former VMware U.S. public sector leader Aileen Black have co-hosted the "Women of Washington" program on Federal News Radio.

Schumm will take up the role formerly held by Marty Weber, who will transition into a new position as senior VP of customer success with responsibility for new initiatives and programs surrounding ThreatQuotient's ThreatQ cyber intelligence offering.

Reston, Va.-based ThreatQuotient is seeking to expand the use of that threat intelligence platform.
