Sevatec adds former Salient COO vet Parker as chief strategist

Technology services contractor Sevatec has appointed former Salient Federal Solutions Chief Operating Officer and three-decade IT sector veteran Bill Parker as chief strategist.

Parker will work to elevate Sevatec's profile as a middle-tier IT contractor in the national security community and help develop the company's long-term vision and strategy.

At Salient, he held the COO role for five years and helped lead it through its 2015 merger with CRGT to create the contractor now known as Salient CRGT.

His tenure at Salient was preceded by two years as COO at NCI Inc. Sevatec says Parker has helped develop and implement strategies for 10 total companies as either CEO, president, COO or strategic consultant.

Parker's private sector career started in 1982 at CACI International, where he held a 16-year career that culminated with three years as an executive vice president.
