NetPlus picks up mobility capabilities through latest acquisition

NetPlus has acquired Amtel Inc. in a move that boosts NetPlus’ integrated software-as-a-service solution for enterprise mobility and expense management.

Silicon Valley-based Amtel is a developer of a cloud-based enterprise mobility management platform and among its other work focuses on helping state and local governments leverage mobility to better engage with their communities.

The acquisition will expand NetPlus’ offerings to include mobile device management, mobile application management and mobile expense management.

The company will continue to look for strategic acquisitions in this space to further build out its platform, said Brian Wall, founder and CEO of StoneCalibre, owner of NetPlus.
