NATO has issued a request for proposals for a company to facilitate information associated with a project to identify scenarios the alliance will need to prepare for in the years ahead.

The contractor will be responsible for archiving research and analyses generated by the Multiple Futures project and developing and maintaining a Web site dedicated to the project.

The Multiple Futures project is being carried out by NATO Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation in Norfolk, Va.

The purpose of the project is to build an intellectual framework for identifying factors that will help anticipate how the world might change in the coming years and the military implications of such changes. NATO plans to use the findings to develop the best possible military advice for the alliance and assist ongoing defense planning processes.

The project term is expected to consist of one base year and one option year. Those interested in the opportunity should submit a technical and price proposal by June 13.
