The system should gather time-and-attendance information that the department can use to increase operational efficiency. The new system must fit into the state's overall strategy for its existing human resources and payroll system.
System tune-up

The Colorado Revenue Department wants a contractor to replace its existing statewide vehicle titling and registration system. A request for proposals is expected in late 2007.

The system should successfully integrate all automobile registration, licensing and titling functions.

Get them running

The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services wants a contractor to provide seat-management services. A request for proposals is expected in August.
The contractor will be responsible for acquisition, installation, maintenance, asset-management, disposal and reporting services for the department's computers.
