OnPoint inks Treasury infrastructure support deal

OnPoint Consulting Inc. won a five-year, $60 million prime contract from the Treasury Department to deliver a range of IT support services. The deal is OnPoint's largest to date, the company said.

Under the Financial Management Service Enterprise Infrastructure Support Services contract, which is for one year with four one-year options, the company's services will include mainframe and client/server operations and maintenance support. M-Cubed Information Systems Inc. of Silver Springs, Md., is a subcontractor on the project.

The contract was issued under the General Services Administration's 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services contract vehicle. The governmentwide acquisition program is a small-business set-aside contract for technology solutions.

OnPoint Consulting of Arlington, Va., is a privately held, 8(a) certified technology consulting firm specializing in project management, information assurance, systems development and network operations for government and commercial clients. The company has more than 200 employees and had annual sales of $21 million in fiscal 2005.
