SI International Inc. has won a $11.4 million contract to provide logistics support to the Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
The five-year contract, for one year and four one-year options, also has SI International providing logistics support to the Depot Maintenance Operations and Programs Division at the base, company officials said.
Under the contract, SI International will assist the Depot Maintenance Activity Group (DMAG). That includes conducting analytical studies, supporting logistics program implementation, administering information systems, updating Web pages and maintaining databases.
The contract is part of an ongoing effort at the depot to transforms its processes to deliver on-time aircraft to war fighters at a reduced cost, DMAG officials said.
SI International has provided logistical support to the DMAG for more than six years, company officials said. SI International, an IT and network-solutions company, primarily works with federal government.
