Army needs terminal help

The Army Communications-Electronics Command at Fort Monmouth, N.J., needs contractors to provide functionally equivalent Joint Tactical Terminal Senior configurations, originally manufactured by Raytheon Network Centric Systems.

The terminals deliver critical, time-sensitive battlefield targeting information to tactical commanders and intelligence nodes from all military services at high security levels in near real time.

The equivalent terminals must be able to receive transmissions on eight to 12 separate channels and transmit on up to four separate channels. They also must have hardware and software building blocks from common integrated broadcast service modules. The terminals must include an embedded information security module and have sufficient processor reserves. Responses are due by July 30. Contact Gregory Copeland at gregory.copeland@
