Next generation GPS

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in San Diego is searching for companies interested in contracts for the next-generation Global Positioning System navigation system with enhanced security and open-system architecture.

The system should use commercial hardware and software that meets the security and open-systems architecture parameters of the Navy's Enhanced User Equipment ordinance. Companies must submit a technical description of their systems. Responses are due May 12. Contact Oralee Martin at oralee.martin@navy.mil.
