The General Services Administration this month plans to release a draft request for proposals to upgrade and enhance FedBizOpps, the government's procurement portal.

The agency is finalizing the acquisition strategy to upgrade the FedBizOpps site, said David Drabkin, deputy associate administrator at GSA for acquisition policy.

"FedBizOpps is something that has worked since day one and every day since, and we want to see what we can do to keep it going," Drabkin said. "This is not an overhaul, because the current system runs pretty well."
