ITS Services wins $12 million in Customs business

The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection has selected ITS Services Inc. to execute two task orders worth more than $12 million over the next three years, the company announced today.

The awards, one for enterprise data warehousing, the other for Web development, were made under the Treasury Information Processing Support Services 2 contract. ITS Services is one of 17 vendors on the TIPSS-2 contract.

ITS Services has been providing enterprise data warehousing support to the bureau since 1997. Under the new task order, the company will support Customs in the areas of data modeling, data analysis, programming and development of test plans.

The company has provided the bureau with Web design, development and maintenance support since 1996. CBPnet, the agency's intranet enterprise Web portal, disseminates information to its users and experiences more than one million hits per hour during peak periods.

Headquartered in Springfield, Va., ITS Services is a privately held company founded in 1991. The company provides IT solutions to government and commercial customers, specializing in networking engineering and operations, software and systems development and enterprise architecture. Among the agencies using its services are the Drug Enforcement Administration, Census Bureau and Internal Revenue Service.
