Brief: VLF, radio, transmitter facilities

There is an opportunity to provide operations and maintenance of the naval radio and transmitter facilities located in Clam Lake, Wis., and Republic, Mich. The contractor will be responsible for all equipment and facilities 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

A second contract is to provide operations and maintenance of the Very Low Frequency transmit site at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic Detachment, LaMoure, N.D. This also is an around-the-clock, 365-day per year operation.

The response date for both opportunities is May 30. Both are small business set-aside contracts. More information can be found on FedBizOpps.gov; solicitation no. N0014003R1579 is for the VLF transmit site, and solicitation no. N0014003R1578 is for the Wisconsin and Michigan radio sites.
