Lockheed Martin Corp., Bethesda, Md., has developed the first version of maintenance monitoring software for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. The Test Failure Resolution Report software collects and stores failure data, root cause analysis data and corrective actions. As the first component of a Lockheed Martin F-35

distributed maintenance-tracking system, called the Autonomic Logistics Information System, the Web-based software is expected to reduce costs by making aircraft data easier to obtain by maintenance crews.
