Oceus brings in new growth, strategy chief
Oceus Networks appoints its new chief growth and strategy officer from the private equity owner that acquired the company last year.
Oceus Networks has brought in an executive from its private equity owner to serve as chief growth and strategy officer at the government telecommunications company.
Paul McQuillan will lead Oceus’ business development function with his responsibilities also including to oversee sales operations and market communications efforts, Oceus said Friday.
For Battle Investment Group, McQuillan analyzes the acquisitions and investment activities of its portfolio companies and supports the private equity firm’s strategic planning and growth initiatives.
McQuillan’s career includes stints as chief operating officer at Culmen International, CEO of PlanetRisk, chief growth officer at A-T Solutions and president at Leonie Industries.
Battle Investment Group acquired Oceus in July of last year and infused the company with additional capital to support its strategy of providing secure and reliable mobile communications to users in remote environments. That includes helping stand up 5G network systems for agencies.
