IntelliBridge closes second acquisition of 2021

Find opportunities — and win them.

IntelliBridge has closed its second acquisition of 2021 as it builds more capabilities around DevSecOps, data science and analytics.

IntelliBridge has closed its acquisition of this year with a deal to buy U.Group -- a provider of DevSecOps, data science and analytic solutions.

U.Group's main customers are with homeland security, defense and civilian agencies. U.Group applies human-centered design to solve its customers problems by combining strategy and consulting with agile development and data products and analytics, IntelliBridge said Tuesday.

That acquisition follows the February announcement that IntelliBridge purchased Alethix, which also brought data processing and analytics capabilities.

IntelliBridge was created in 2020 as an acquisition platform when the private equity group Enlightenment Capital combined two businesses in Trowbridge & Trowbridge and IntelliWare Systems. The deal for Alethix was IntellBridge's first since the combination.

“U.Group brings the latest commercial innovations in DevSecOps, data science and analytics, and creative design to the public sector, and we are excited to bolster these capabilities across the organization,” said Jason Rigoli, partner at Enlightenment Capital and chairman of IntelliBridge.

IntelliBridge CEO Cass Panciocco said U.Group helps strengthens the acquirer's position as a digital solutions provider.

“We can now bring to bear new artificial intelligence and data science solutions in an agile, repeatable, and scalable manner to current and prospective customers. This combination will create instant opportunities for both our customers and employees,” Panciocco said.

Investment bank KippsDeSanto acted as the financial adviser to U.Group.
