Parsons hires new human resources chief
Parsons Corp. appoints a new chief human resources officer to oversee the company’s entire talent function.
Parsons Corp. has hired nearly three-decade government market and human resources veteran Susan Balaguer as chief HR officer to oversee the company’s entire talent function.
She will be responsible for initiatives related to human capital acquisition, mobility, compensation and benefits, business unit partnerships and employee engagement. Balaguer’s appointment is effective immediately and she will report to CEO Carey Smith, Parsons said Monday.
Most recently, Balaguer was chief HR officer for Serco Group’s subsidiary in the U.S. She is also a veteran of senior HR roles at Engility Corp., CACI International and Raytheon.
