Sev1Tech appoints new Army business lead
Sev1Tech expands its leadership team with the appointment of an executive to focus on the company's work with the Army.
Sev1Tech has hired nearly two-decade Army veteran and former Akima executive Michael Bosco as senior vice president of Army mission solutions.
Bosco will report to Sev1Tech CEO Bob Lohfeld Jr. and lead all solutions development, strategy and customer engagement functions for the unit. His focus will be on growing Sev1Tech's Army and special operations C5ISR portfolio, the company said Wednesday.
Most recently, Bosco was vice president and lead business development executive for Akima's emerging markets group. His private sector career also includes stints as chief operating officer for Ops Tech Alliance, vice president of business development at Altamira Technologies and director of business development for BAE Systems Inc.'s intelligence and security sector.
Before entering industry, Bosco served in the Army for two decades in leadership roles involving both military and inter-agency personnel.
