ManTech's HR lead dies

ManTech's chief human resources officer Jeff Brody has died.

ManTech’s chief human resources officer, Jeff Brody, died on Jan. 26.

A cause of death was not listed in his obituary. Brody joined ManTech in June 2017 after 18 years with Northrop Grumman.

He previously worked for CGI Group, ATK, Baxter International and John Hopkins University.

In a LinkedIn post, ManTech praised his commitment to the human resources field but also said that was “only matched by his love for his family and the outdoors."

Brody grew up in Baltimore and was a 1980 graduate of Pikesville Senior High. He graduated from the University North Carolina and earned his juris doctor degree from Concord Law School and a masters degree in organizational development from the University of Maryland.

He also was a visiting executive lecturer at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

He met his wife Lyse while working for CGI in Montreal.

Brody is also survived by his parents Goldie and Marvin Brody; sons Jake and Jordan Brody; stepson Adam Lyka Scalia; brother Fred Brody; sister Robyn Greenhouse; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are pending. The family is asking that donations be made in his memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Summit Land Conservancy in Park City, Utah.
