iBiz promotes Markey to senior VP

DIGITALiBiz has promoted John Markey to the position of senior vice president.

He will manage the program management office as well as oversee coordination with the recruiting department and the company’s training and education programs.

Markey has been a vice president at the company since his initial appointment in 2012. He managed clients such as the Federal Aviation Administration and the Navy, which he’ll continue to manage.

In his new role, he will also be the backup to iBiz President Stephen Murray.

Markey has had a 32-year career that has seen him manage aviation, management and engineering contracts. He’s worked extensively with the FAA, Defense Department and NASA.
