Jacobs’ board of directors elects a new member in retired Army Gen. Vincent Brooks.

Jacobs’ board of directors has elected a new member in retired Army Gen. Vincent Brooks, the global professional services company said Monday.

Brooks retired from active duty last year after a nearly four-decade career that culminated with service as commander of Korean and U.S. Forces in South Korea.

Forty-five percent of the 11 Jacobs board members are “female or ethnically diverse,” according to the company’s release.

Other high-profile roles Brooks held during his career include commanding general of U.S. Army Pacific and the same position for the Third Army.
