Mission Essential Group consolidates its intelligence community business units and appoints a former General Dynamics IT executive to lead that single organization.
Mission Essential Group has combined its two intelligence community business units into a single organization and hired a nearly three-decade government market veteran to lead that division.
Tom Middleton, formerly of General Dynamics’ IT services segment, has joined Mission Essential as president of the consolidated intelligence solutions segment.
Herndon, Virginia-based Mission Essential said Thursday that the realignment is aimed at streamlining services for defense and intelligence agencies in areas such as information management system engineering, software development, information assurance, and system sustainment.
Most recently at GDIT, Middleton was a vice president for the intelligence and homeland security division and focused on business development and strategy.
Mission Essential’s language and logistics solutions line of business will continue to be led Al Pisani, who has been president of that shop since 2018.
