Dovel Technologies' MSC subsidiary adds a new senior vice president to help steer its technology strategy for scientific research and public health programs.

Dovel Technologies said Wednesday that 25-year biomedical research veteran Dr. Anthony Cristillo has joined the company’s Medial Science & Computing subsidiary as a senior vice president.

In a release Wednesday, Dovel said Cristillo will oversee MSC’s health information systems division that focuses on building and maintaining technology to support scientific research and providing support services to public health and life sciences missions.

Prior to MSC, Cristillo was vice president of clinical and public health sciences at SSS Inc. Dovel and MSC touted his background in research focused on the development of vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics targeting infectious and non-infectious diseases.

Cristillo’s career includes roles such as principal investigator, co-principal investigator, program director and project manager to help lead the development of preclinical and clinical information systems.
