Leidos' Australia arm makes acting chief permanent
Leidos' subsidiary in Australia appoints its acting chief executive for three months to that position on a full-time basis.
Leidos said Thursday its subsidiary in Australia has appointed acting chief executive Paul Chase to take the position on a permanent basis after three months in the interim.
He succeeds Christine Zeitz, who stepped down from the role in March after nearly four years in the role.
Chase is a 22-year veteran of the Leidos Australia business, which the parent picked up through its merger with the former Lockheed Martin IS&GS services business in 2016. International sales represented roughly 8 percent of Leidos’ revenue last year with Australia and the U.K. as primary locations, according to the company’s annual report.
Australia’s defense department chose Leidos in February of last year as prime system integrator for a program to improve intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.
