NCI captures second Army Futures Command contract

NCI Information Systems is building on its Army relationship as the company wins more work with the branch's Futures Command.
NCI Information Systems has won a second contract to support the Army Futures Command to support modernization efforts.
Army Futures Command is the lead organization for a variety of efforts to transform and bring new innovation to the military.
NCI’s first contract awarded last year covers engineering, security and testing services to the command at its Austin, Texas headquarters. That contact runs through September and is worth about $6 million.
The newest award is valued at $5 million over 17 months and is for command and control systems.
“Futures Command is playing a critical role in advancing the transformation of modernization for Army systems and operations. We look forward to leveraging our deep customer expertise, together with our emerging technologies, to advance our nation’s warfighters’ mission,” said NCI CEO Paul Dillahay.
Dillahay said the work is an important milestone for NCI because it builds on its long-term relationship with the Army.
Under the contract, NCI will provide a range of IT systems development and support services, including engineering, furnishing, installing, securing and testing for AFC’s C5I/IT systems. The company also will deliver integration of systems, project management support data, on-site training as well as equipment warranty.
NCI will also incorporate Shai artificial intelligence offering to modernize legacy systems.
