The Beta.Sam.Go notice describes the procurement as a small business set-aside. That is about all I know. Access to the request for information itself is restricted.

I’ve put a request to Beta.Sam and to DFAS for a copy. Beta.Sam sent me an automated response asking for my CAGE code and DUNS number, neither of which I have. DFAS asked for the same thing. I'll update this blog if I get it. These kinds of documents are usually readily available, unless of course it is a classified contract.

RFIs are one of the tools the government uses to conduct market research on what is available in the private sector. RFIs, also known as sources sought notices, usually contain a description of the problem the government wants solved or the services they are looking to acquire.
