Bersoff leads GovCon awards with Hall of Fame induction

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council picked the top executives and contractors of the year and named BTG founder Ed Bersoff to the Greater Washington Government Contractor Hall of Fame.

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Professional Services Council announced at their Wednesday night gala this year’s class of companies and executives to receive the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards.

Per custom, the chamber and PSC selected four GovCon companies and three executives to recognize their success in the market, plus contributions to employees and the wider community.

This was the 17th annual edition of the awards, which also included the induction of BTG founder Ed Bersoff into the Greater Washington Government Contractor Hall of Fame and selection of now-retired Air Force. Gen. Paul Silva as Public Sector Partner of the Year.

Winners and categories are outlined below.

Contractors of the Year

  • SOS International -- greater than $300 million
  • DCS Corp. -- $75 million to $300 million
  • Ridgeline International -- $25 million to $75 million
  • Datastrong -- up to $25 million

Executives of the Year

  • Mac Curtis, CEO of Perspecta - greater than $300 million
  • William Vantine, CEO of Systems Planning & Analysis -- $75 million to $300 million
  • Robin Portman, CEO of Atlas Research -- up to $75 million
