Air Force taps pair for work on DOD business system requirements

Robbins-Gioia and Synergy Solutions and Innovations have both won a $50 million Air Force contract to help develop better requirements for the Defense Business System.
Robbins-Gioia LLC and Synergy Solutions and Innovations have both won a $50 million Air Force contract to help develop better requirements for the Defense Business System.
The companies will compete with each other for task orders that will help the Air Force explore more effective ways to support business operations by using existing technologies owned by the Air Force. The Air Force also wants to streamline and standardize business process and develop integrated solutions.
The contract is known as the Business Capability Lifecycle Management Projects. It will be used for technical and engineering; information and data management, process engineering, performance assessment, change management, facilitation, project management, and scheduling.
Most of the work will be done in Washington, D.C.
Robbins-Gioia and Synergy were picked from among seven bidders who pursued the contract.
