The activity provides technical and engineering support services for Marine Corps Systems Command.
In one request for information, the Marine Corps is looking for support for the tactical systems oriented architecture.
Some of the tasks include integrating a commercial geospatial platform on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This will be used to develop a prototype implementation.
Another prototype is envisioned to connect to the Army Data Dissemination System.
The Marine Corps also wants to leverage automated testing capabilities developed by the Naval Research Laboratory to automate test threads for the geospatial server and the connection to the Army Data Dissemination system.
There also is a need for systems interoperability testing, data schema development and help desk support.
In the second RFI, the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity is looking for support for the Combat Operations Center and Network On The Move operations.
The support includes testing and engineering technical support including document reviews, meeting support, test support, product assessments and help desk support.
Respondents must have a security clearance up to the Secret level to access technical requirements for both RFIs.
Responses to both RFIs are due July 19.
