GDIT-CSRA: Let the integration begin

General Dynamics' IT services business has named several CSRA executives to senior leadership positions in the newly joined organizations.
General Dynamics has wasted little time in kicking off the integration of its IT services business with CSRA. And that has started at the top of the organization.
GD closed its $6.9 billion-cash acquisition of CSRA on Tuesday.
As previously announced, Amy Gilliland is president of the combined organization. She’s been with General Dynamics since 2005 and took over leadership of GDIT in September.
But her leadership team now includes former CSRA executives, including the leaders of the civilian and defense organizations.
Ken Deutsch is now senior vice president of defense. He previously led CSRA’s defense group.
GDIT’s civilian business will be led by former CSRA executive Paul Nedzbala, who has been named senior vice president of federal civilian. Previously, he led SRA International’s health and civil group and is a former chief operating officer of Constella Health Sciences.
He is a real veteran of acquisitions and integrations. SRA bought Constella and SRA merged with the former Computer Sciences Corp. federal business to form CSRA.
Leigh Palmer has been named senior vice president of the GDIT national security business. She ran CSRA’s intelligence business before the acquisition.
And GD vet Adam Rudo continues to lead the intelligence community business for GDIT.
George Batsakis, who was chief growth officer at CSRA, now holds that same title for GDIT. He’ll drive technology and business development initiatives.
Christian Marrone, CSRA’s former senior vice president of external relations and chief of staff, is now chief of staff at GDIT.
